An Evening Talk on Feeding the Endurance Horse by Natalia Davis, Equine
Nutritionist and a Talk on Halfway Vetting by Ruth Riddell.
at Norvite, South Blackbog, Oldmeldrum, AB51 0AG
This is a pre-season talk to focus on getting the best
out of our horses whether we are starting endurance or wanting to progress
up the distances.
Natalia is
the Nutritionist for Norvite but previously worked for Saracen.
Ruth has years of experience both in crewing and
running rides, therefore has a depth of knowledge to be tapped into.
This is an excellent opportunity for all novice riders
and those wanting to progress through the grading system. You only get
out of a horse what you put in, both in nutrition and training. A ride
can be won or lost on crewing.
Everyone is welcome and feel free to bring along
friends who are interested in starting endurance. |

HorseBack UK Talk
HorseBack UK is a charity which has been created to provide a safe and
secure environment to aid those serving, or those who have served in the UK
armed forces, many of whom have suffered physical injury and/or acute stress
as a result of their commitment to their country. Whilst combining
western horsemanship, rural skills and adventure training, HorseBack UK
endeavours to integrate serving personnel and veterans into the rural
community inspiring a meaningful and rewarding future.
Grampian Branch recently held a charity ride in aid of Horseback UK and
interested SERC members have now been invited by Jock Hutchison there to
a talk explaining what Horseback UK actually do.
