Clatt

Clatt (Upper Donside) will be run from the Clatt Tearooms (between Rhynie and Insch).  The routes include open moorland, forest and some road work, giving lovely views (weather permitting, we've asked for bright sun and a breeze!), a variety of going and enough hills for those who wish to fitten their horses or ponies.  Parts of the routes are over the Coreen Hills which were included in the route to Rhynie a few years ago.

Clatt Tearooms will be open during the weekend - times to be advised.  The water supply is metered so please don’t expect to fill up containers at the Tearooms.

Directions to Venue

Landranger sheet 37 Grid ref 539262

From the A96:-  at Huntly turn South onto the A97, travel approximately 6 miles and turn left onto the B9002 (signed Insch).  After approximately 2 miles and the 30mph limit signs at Kennethmont, turn right (sign Clatt 2).  Follow this road to Clatt, turn left into the venue.

From the South:-  follow the A97 to Rhynie, turn right beside the shop (sign Clatt 3).  Follow this road for approximately 3 miles to a T-junction, turn left and soon right into the venue.
