CAPERCAILLIES

The track between Lochhead Croft and Turner Hall is a sensitive area.  Please proceed quietly (i.e. low voices) with no more than 2 riders per group.  If you are lucky enough to see a Capercaillie, please stop and wait until it goes away.  Don't hassle it as the males are very territorial and may be aggressive.  If such an encounter occurs, you will be given a time allowance.
